OSET Electric Trials Minibikes are launched in Australia!
10-10-07
OSET Australia today announced the full release of the OSET Spider range of electric trials mini-bikes onto the Australian market after a successful test at the Australian Motorcycle Expo in Brisbane in late September.
But they're not just speed machines. These bikes have full, quality suspension, low centres of gravity for increased balance (the low gravity makes it easy for a three-year-old to pick a bike up after a fall – usually the bane of parental supervision because they always fall off at the point that's farthest from you!) and a parental speed control that's hard for the rider to reach, ensuring they only go as fast as they can handle.
Brendon Daley, Distribution Manager says "It's taken some time to get our hands on these little bikes because they are so popular in the US – each factory run is sold out within weeks". "And their popularity goes across borders too – we could hardly keep up with the kids wanting to try them out at the expo".
"We've got a full production run available for sale, and a large range of spares for the inevitable little accidents that occur."
Kal Daley, General Manager says “the biggest hassle with kids that want to ride is the time it takes to prepare the bike, create the fuel mix, drive to a place away from the neighbours, start the bike, restart the bike, then drive back after it’s over. OSET bikes make that a thing of the past because your kids can ride them in your own backyard, and develop correct riding techniques with a bike that doesn’t weigh twice what they do"
The OSET 12.5 retails for $1,250 including GST, and the OSET 16 retails for $1450 including GST plus freight where applicable.
